About

The Wildfire Mitigators Association of Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to significantly reducing wildfire risks and costs through collaboration with stakeholders across Canada and beyond.

An estimated $10 billions per year is spent directly and indirectly to combat and recover from wildfires in Canada.

This highlights the importance and the need for more proactive collaborative strategies to cut this number in half.

The Goal

To bring together stakeholders groups to significantly reduce the risk and cost of Wildfires across Canada.  This will include  all levels of governments, First Nations, industry and other supporting organizations.
